CUMILLA, Dec 16, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Monday arrested Sabina Yasmin Bithi, daughter of notorious criminal Subrata Bain alias Mohammad Fateh Ali, from Cumilla.

RAB-11 Cumilla CPC-2 Company Commander Sadman Ibne Alam confirmed the arrest around midnight on Monday (December 15).

According to RAB sources, members of RAB-11 arrested Sabina Yasmin Bithi in front of the main gate of Cumilla Central Jail on Monday afternoon. After the arrest, she was handed over to the Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police for further legal proceedings.

Company Commander Sadman Ibne Alam said law enforcement agencies are investigating whether Bithi was involved in financial transactions, networking, or providing assistance to her father's criminal gang.

Earlier, top criminal Subrata Bain was transferred from Narayanganj District Jail to Cumilla Central Jail on December 5.
