DHAKA, Dec 2, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman visited former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia at Evercare Hospital in the city tonight.

During the visit, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman inquired about her health and was briefed on her medical condition. 

He prayed to the Almighty Allah for patience and strength for her family during this difficult time.

Expressing hope for her recovery, he said, "As she is still surviving, we hope and pray that she will regain full health, Insha'Allah."

He also urged everyone to maintain discipline at the hospital and requested prayers for Begum Khaleda Zia's speedy recovery.
