TANGAIL, July 4, 2025 (BSS)- BNP’s National Executive Committee vice-chairman Advocate Ahmed Azam Khan today said, BNP is very much conscious about the hybrid leaders and they would not get any space in the party.

“Hybrid leaders not only hamper the progress of the party, they also create obstacle to country’s progress,” he said.

The BNP leader said while talking to journalists before a greetings exchange programme with the members of the Hindu community at Basail Degree College here.

The BNP leader said a number of political parties are trying to halting the elections in the name of reform and other issues.

“Halting the election is similar to halting the progress of the country,” he said adding all development activities and industrialization would remain suspended if an elected government doesn’t take over.

He urged all political parties to take part in the coming election instead of any bid to halt the election and thwart the country’s democratic progress.

He said some political parties having no chance to win in the election are trying to halt the election.

“It is not a big issue who will go to power and who will be the opposition. But it’s essential to love the country and carry forward the development work,” he added.
