RAJSHAHI, June 16, 2026 (BSS) - The United States Ambassador to Bangladesh, Brent T. Christensen, paid a courtesy call on Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman Riton.

The meeting, held this afternoon at the RCC Administrator's office in Nagar Bhaban, featured a cordial exchange of views between the two sides.

During this time, they discussed building Rajshahi metropolis as a green, environment-friendly, smart, healthy, safe, and climate-resilient modern 
city.
 
At the outset of the meeting, the RCC Administrator welcomed the US Ambassador with a floral greeting. Following the discussion, he presented a 
souvenir to the Ambassador, who also signed the RCC visitors' book during the visit.

The meeting was also attended by Political Counselor Eric Gillan and Political Officer Charles Besnard from the US Embassy, alongside RCC Chief 
Executive Officer Rezaul Karim, Secretary Sohel Rana, Superintending Engineer Ahmad Al Moin Parag, and other senior officials.
