RAJSHAHI, Sept 1, 2026 (BSS) - Land Minister Md. Mizanur Rahman Minu today said any conspiracy

against the country and the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will be firmly resisted with the

support of the people.

"No conspiracy can withstand the unity of the soldiers of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, former

Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia and current Prime Minister Tarique Rahman," he said.

The minister made the remarks while addressing a rally organised by Rajshahi city unit of BNP at

Batar Mor, marking the party's 48th founding anniversary.

Minu said BNP was founded by Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, the proclaimer of independence and

had always worked for the welfare of the country and its people..

He said BNP could not be silenced despite severe repression during the previous government

because the party "never bows its head to anyone."

Minu said Prime Minister Tarique Rahman was implementing various groundbreaking and public

welfare-oriented programmes, whose benefits were reaching ordinary people.

He said BNP had stood beside the people in the past, was doing so now and would continue to do

so.

Rajshahi city BNP President Mamun-or-Rashid Mamun chaired the rally.

Later, a colourful procession led by the minister paraded the city's main roads.
