DHAKA, July 31, 2021 (BSS): Awami League General Secretary and Minister for Road , Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Nurjahan Mazhar, wife of former vice chancellor of Rajshahi University Dr Mazharul Islam and mother of Awami League central executive member Professor Merina Jahan.
In a condolence message,Quader conveyed his sympathy to the members of the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul .
Nurjahan Mazhar passed away at the age of 92 at a city hospital around 6:30 am today.
She is survived by two sons, two daughters, and a host of relatives, admirers and well-wishers.
