DHAKA, Sept 3, 2026 (BSS) - BNP Standing Committee Member and Prime Minister's Political Adviser Mirza Abbas today visited the graves of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

After the parliamentary session, he got out of his car and went to the mausoleum in a wheelchair.

Party leaders, activists and supporters were present with him.

Mirza Abbas paid his respects by placing floral wreaths at the graves of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and Begum Khaleda Zia. Later, he stood in silence for a while, recited Fateha and offered prayers for the forgiveness of their souls.

Earlier, after completing his medical treatment, Mirza Abbas returned to the country from Malaysia on Wednesday after five months.
