Mastul Foundation is working in the service of humanity: Land Minister

RAJSHAHI, Aug 15, 2026 (BSS)-  Land Minister Mizanur Rahman Minu, MP, said that Mastul Foundation is working relentlessly across Bangladesh in the service of humanity. 
Their work is highly commendable.
 
He said this today while speaking as the chief guest at a tube-well distribution program organized by Mastul Foundation at Hajor Mor in Rajshahi city.
 
The Minister said that the work of this organization is not limited to distributing tube-wells or sewing machines, but they stand by people with various services during any natural disaster. 
This organization also has a significant role on the international stage.

 Mastul Foundation is providing nutritious food, medicine and financial assistance to the oppressed Muslims in Gaza and Palestine.
 
Mentioning the necessity of pure water supply in Rajshahi, the Minister said that this initiative of Mastul Foundation is very timely. 

He instructed the local officials and volunteers to distribute the relief materials with transparency. 

Recalling personal memories, the Minister said, "While I was in jail, I felt the hardship of water scarcity. From that experience, I always strive to ensure pure water for the people."
 
Praising the leadership of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mastul Foundation and former Secretary, Mr. Akbar, he said that under the leadership of an honest, efficient and experienced person like him, this organization has become a symbol of trust for the common people.
 
The Minister emphasized maintaining the trend of peace and development in Rajshahi and called upon everyone, irrespective of party affiliation, to remain united for the development of the area and for social service work.
 
At that time, he also expressed his desire to go on a humanitarian mission to the Gaza Strip as a volunteer with this foundation, subject to government permission, and expressed his gratitude to Mastul Foundation.
 
The event was attended by the Chief Executive Officer of Mastul Foundation and former Senior Secretary Mohammad Akmal Hossain Azad, President of Rajshahi Lions Club Iftiar Mahmud Babu, officials of Mastul Foundation, local public representatives, dignitaries, beneficiaries and journalists.
 
At the end of the program, the Minister handed over the tube-wells and sewing machines provided by Mastul Foundation to the beneficiaries.
 
It is to be noted that 22 tube-wells and one sewing machine were distributed in the city by Mastul Foundation to ensure pure water for the marginal and underprivileged population.
