DHAKA, Aug 15, 2026 (BSS)- BNP has nominated four senior leaders as members of the party's national standing committee, the highest decision-making forum of the party, said a press release issued here today.

The new standing committee members are BNP Senior Joint Secretary General and Political Adviser to the Prime Minister Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi; Joint Secretary General and Member of Parliament from Dhaka-2 Md Aman Ullah Aman; Adviser to the BNP Chairman and Chief Adviser of the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) Forhad Halim; and BNP Advisory Council Member and Adviser to the Ministry of Public Administration Md Ismail Zabihullah.

The release said that, in order to increase the organizational dynamism of the BNP and in accordance with the party's decision, the leaders have been nominated as members of the national standing committee.
