RAJSHAHI, Aug 4, 2026 (BSS)- The 57th meeting of the Committee for Advanced Studies and Research (CASR) of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) has been held.
 
The meeting was organised by the Research and Extension Department of RUET today in the Vice-Chancellor's conference room. 
The meeting was presided over by Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. S M Abdur Razzak.
 
In the meeting, the members of the CASR committee, including the Deans of various faculties and Heads of Departments of the university, presented their specific proposals for improving the quality of research.
 
The meeting was moderated by Member-Secretary of the CASR Committee and Director of the Research and Extension Department, Professor Dr. Abdul Khalek, and was also attended by committee members including Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Akhtar Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering Professor Dr. Md. Kamruzzaman, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering Professor Dr. Bashir Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Professor Dr. Md. Nurul Islam and Dean of the Faculty of Applied Science and Humanities Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Quader Jilani.

Heads of various departments, as well as Professor Dr. Mohammad Ali from the Mechanical Department of BUET and Professor Dr. Md. Roknuzzaman from North South University was also present.
