DHAKA, Mar 19, 2026 (BSS) - Commerce, Industries, and Textiles and Jute Minister Khandaker Abdul Muktadir has extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of all walks of life on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr.

In a message, the minister conveyed Eid greetings to the country’s citizens, party leaders and activists, as well as professionals from all sectors.

He said that after a month of fasting, the holy Eid-ul-Fitr brings joy and happiness to the Muslim Ummah and expressed hope that the festival would usher in peace and happiness in every household.

The minister urged all to celebrate the Eid with their families in a joyful and safe manner.

Expressing gratitude to the people, Muktadir said that the people have entrusted the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) with the responsibility of running the country through a massive mandate in the 13th Jatiya Sangsad election.

He sought continued cooperation from the people to fulfill this responsibility properly and expressed optimism that the people would stand by them as in the past in advancing the democratic process.

He concluded his message by wishing everyone “Eid Mubarak.”
