KHULNA, Jan 14, 2026 (BSS): The first-year enrolment test for the 2025-2026 academic session of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) will be held tomorrow (Thursday), according to a press release issued today.

The written examination for BSc Engineering, Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning (BURP) and Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) programmes will take place from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.

In addition, a freehand drawing test for BArch applicants will be held from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm.

A total of 11,713 candidates will appear in the three-hour written examination carrying 500 marks. Besides the written test, BArch candidates will sit for a one-hour freehand drawing test carrying 100 marks.

Admissions will be conducted against 1,065 seats in 16 departments under three faculties - Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.

The admission test will be held at two centres this year. The centres are KUET campus (Roll Nos 10001-16222, total 6,222 candidates) and Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) campus (Roll Nos 20001-25491, total 5,491 candidates).
