DHAKA, Dec 19, 2025 (BSS) - Fisheries and Livestock Adviser Farida Akhter has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Sharif Osman Hadi, an intrepid frontline fighter of the July Mass Uprising and spokesperson of Inqilab Mancha.

In a condolence message, issued today, she said that Sharif Osman Hadi was a courageous political activist and a fearless voice who always took a firm stand against injustice and oppression.

The Adviser further said that following the July Mass Uprising, as spokesperson of Inqilab Mancha, he played an important role in protecting the rights of the July fighters, upholding democratic values and safeguarding national interests. 

The void created by his untimely demise will not be easy to fill, she added.

Farida Akhter prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and expressed her deep sympathy to his bereaved wife, family members, fellow fighters and well-wishers.
