DHAKA, Dec 6, 2021 (BSS) - A F M Afzal Hossain, father of Ex-BCL president

Mahamud Hasan Ripon, passed away while undergoing treatment at a city
hospital yesterday.

   He was 87, family sources said.

   He left behind his wife, three sons, three daughters and a host of
relatives and admirers to mourn his death.

   Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges
Minister Obaidul Quader today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the
death of Afzal Hossain.

   In a condolence message, the minister prayed for eternal peace of the
departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
