DHAKA, Sept 15, 2025 (BSS) - The results of the four-year Fazil Bachelor (Honours) examination under the Islamic Arabic University (IAU) have been published, showing a pass rate of 95.5 percent.
IAU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Shamsul Alam officially announced the results this morning, according to a release issued this evening.
Earlier, Examination Controller Mohammad Ali handed over the results to the Vice-Chancellor at an event.
Congratulating the successful students, Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Shamsul Alam said, "It is our responsibility to provide quality education to the students. Every effort will be made to transform madrasah education into a model education system at the national level."
The VC also assured that the Islamic Arabic University will be free from session jams and certificate jams within this year.
University's Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Shahidul Islam, Treasurer ASM Mamunur Rahman Khalili, Dean of Kamil (Postgraduate) Education Training and Research Centre Prof Dr Mohammad Oli Ullah, Dean of Curriculum Development and Evaluation Center Prof Dr Muhammad Shazaat Ullah Faruqui, Registrar Md Ayub Hossain, Director (Planning and Development) Prof Dr Md Rafiq Al Mamun, along with teachers, officers, and employees of the university's examination office, were present.
This year, Darunnajat Siddiquia Kamil Madrasa secured first place in the first, second, third, and final years in the merit list. Government Madrasa-e-Alia secured second place in the final year.
Besides, Jamia Ahmadiyya Sunni Kamil Madrasa of Chattogram secured second place in the first, second, and third years.
A total of 11,354 candidates participated in the examination this year. Out of them, 10,757 passed the examination, the release added.
The Fazil examination was held from May 25 to July 23 this year. All information regarding the examination results can be found on the university's website.
