reaffirmed its commitment to support Dhaka in ensuring safe, dignified and
regular migration while preventing irregular departures.
A high-level EU delegation visited Dhaka this week, comprising officials from

representatives of member states.

reintegration, legal migration pathways, border control, visa issuance, as
well as anti-trafficking and anti-smuggling measures, EU mission in Dhaka

The EU delegation acknowledged "good progress" in joint efforts undertaken
with Bangladesh in recent years.
In the next phase, the European Commission said priority will be placed on
implementing the Talent Partnership, designed to create opportunities for
regular migration through skills development and mobility schemes.
At the same time, the EU stressed the need for "concrete further action" to
eliminate the role of unscrupulous middlemen, dismantle criminal networks
exploiting Bangladeshi nationals and curb the use of fraudulent documents.
Cooperation with Bangladesh is advancing on multiple tracks to safeguard
