DHAKA, Sept 9, 2025 (BSS) - Passengers of Biman Bangladesh Airlines seeking information regarding flights on the Kathmandu-Dhaka route have been requested to contact the designated phone numbers of the airline's Kathmandu office.
According to a press release issued by the Chief Adviser's Press Wing this evening, passengers may contact the Country Manager at +9779851037510, the Station Manager at +9779851026159, and the Sales Office at +9779847918402 for any flight-related queries.
The release further said around one hundred Bangladeshi officials and football players, who had traveled to Nepal on official assignments, are currently stranded in Kathmandu. The exact number of tourists visiting Nepal on private initiatives could not be immediately confirmed.
However, the Bangladesh Mission in Kathmandu reported that its hotline has received calls from more than 350 individuals currently stuck in Nepal. Most of the callers inquired about Biman's flight operations, postponements, and future scheduling.
It is estimated that approximately 500 Bangladeshi Biman passengers are presently stranded in Nepal, the press release added.
The Bangladesh Embassy in Kathmandu informed that Biman Bangladesh Airlines will reschedule its flights based on the evolving security situation and in accordance with guidelines from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.
