DHAKA, Nov 25, 2021 (BSS) - A court here today sentenced three people to life imprisonment in a case lodged over the murder of one Shahidul Islam in capital's Khilkhet area in 2010.

   The three convicts are- SM Hiron Khan, Amir Hossain and Jakir Hossain.

   Dhaka 6th Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge Fatema Imroz Khonika passed the order, also fining the convicts Taka 50, 000 each, to suffer one more year behind the bars in default. After passing the judgement, the court sent the three convicts to jail with conviction warrant.

  Shahidul Islam was murdered on June 3, 2010, in Khilkhet area in the capital.
