Dry weather likely

   DHAKA, Nov 20, 2021 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD)
today predicted that weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky
over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9am today.

  "Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the
country," said a Met office weather bulletin.

   The bulletin said that the well-marked low over Southwest Bay and
adjoining area intensified into a depression over the same area. It then
weakened into a well-marked low pressure area and now lies over north Tamil
Nadu and adjoining area.

   It is likely to move in a west-northwesterly direction further, weaken
gradually and become unimportant. Trough of low lies over North Bay.

   Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may remain
unchanged over the country, it added.

   Country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded at 33.0 degree
Celsius in Cox's Bazar and Sitakunda of Chattagram district while minimum
temperature today was recorded at 13.6 degree Celsius at Srimangal of Sylhet
division.

   The sunsets at 5:11 pm today and rises at 6.16 am tomorrow in the capital.
