RAJSHAHI, June 27, 2025 (BSS)- A two-day career fair began on the Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) campus here today amid much enthusiasm and festive mood.

RUET Career Forum (RCF), in association with the Students' Welfare Office and Rajshahi Engineering Old Students Association (REOSA), organised the fair for the tenth consecutive time with participation of 20 renowned companies.

The fair aims to provide students and fresh graduates with a platform to interact with reputed corporate entities, gain insights into the job market, and pursue direct recruitment opportunities.

RUET Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr SM Abdur Razzaque inaugurated the event at the Shaheed Minar premises by releasing balloons, festoons, and pigeons.

Deputy General Manager of Pubali Bank PLC, Students' Welfare Director Prof Dr Rabiul Islam, Planning and Development Director Prof Dr HM Rassel, and Research and Extension Director Prof Dr Abdul Khaleque were present at the inaugural ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof Razzaque termed the fair an excellent opportunity for qualified graduates to secure suitable employment and urged participants to utilise the scope effectively. He also called upon employers to recruit skilled RUET graduates.

Key features of the fair include company stalls, an HR summit, seminars, and workshops. Besides RUET, students from Rajshahi University and Varendra University are also participating, showcasing their talents and potential.
