DHAKA, Nov 3, 2021 (BSS) – A folk fair and a programme styled "Tungipara: Fatherland in Heart" will be organised on the premises of Bangabandhu Samadhi Soudha Complex in Tungipara, Gopalganj at the end of November in respect to the memory of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.   

"Deepest respect and rich tributes will be paid to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman through the 'Tungipara: Fatherland in Heart' programme," said Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today.

Dr Hasan was presiding over a meeting of Media, Publicity and Documentation Sub-committee of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s Birth Centenary Celebration National Implementation Committee. 

Information and Broadcasting Secretary Md Mokbul Hossain presented an outline of the programme at the meeting held at the committee's office at International Mother Language Institute in the city's Segun Bagicha.   

Chief Coordinator of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s Birth Centenary Celebration National Implementation Committee Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury said folk fair and a programme styled "Tungipara: Fatherland in Heart" at the end of November.   

Managing Director and Chief Editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) Abul Kalam Azad, Director General of BTV Sohrab Hossain, Director General of Bangladesh Betar Ahmad Kamruzzaman, PIB Director General Zafar Wazed, Dersh TV Director Poet Tarique Sujat, Jatiya Press Club President Farida Yasmin, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Museum  Chief Executive Begum Mashura Hossaon, Editor of the Danilik Amader Natun Somoy Naimul Islam Khan, journalist Manzurul Ahsan Bulbul, former President of Jatiya Press Club Saiful Alam, Managing Editor of the Dainik Sangbad Kashem Humayun, ATN Bangla News Editor Z.I. Mamun and high officials of the Information and Broadcasting Ministry, Foreign Ministry and national committee, among others, attended the meeting.
