DHAKA, Oct 20, 2021 (BSS) - Awami League (AL) Organizing Secretary Mirza
Azam, MP, today called upon all to work together to make the party (Awami
League) victorious in the upcoming elections.
"I urge all of you to forget the differences in the upcoming election and
make the candidates of the 'Boat' the winner as Awami League under the
leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has implemented massive
development programme across the country," he said.
He was speaking at the inaugural function of the newly constructed
permanent office of Model Thana Awami League at Atibazar Ghatarchar in
Keraniganj as the chief guest.
Model Thana AL convener Yusuf Ali Chowdhury Selim presided over the
programme while local MP Advocate Kamrul Islam attended it as special guest.
About the recent attacks on Hindu temples, lawmaker Advocate Kamrul Islam
said a vested quarter is hatching conspiracy to destroy communal harmony in
the country.
"We have to stand up against this evil force," he added.
Dhaka District Awami League President Benazir Ahmed, Keraniganj Upazila
Chairman Shahin Ahmed, Model Thana Awami League Joint Conveners Saiful Azam
Khan Banku and Altaf Hossain Biplob and Model Thana Awami Jubo League
President Monir Hossain were also present, among others, at the function.
