DHAKA, Oct 18, 2021 (BSS) - Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun

today said Shaheed Sheikh Russel, the youngest son of Father of the Nation
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, was received the learning of patriotism
from his childhood in contact with his father.

   "Blood of the great leader Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was flowing in the
arteries of Sheikh Russel. If he had survived, he might have done something
groundbreaking for the country," he said while speaking as the chief guest at
a discussion and doa-mahfil, marking the Shaheed Sheikh Russel Day-2021, at
the Industries Ministry in the city, said a press release here.

  Humayun said: "Let us pledge on the birth anniversary of Sheikh Russel, not
a single child's life will fall prematurely in Bengal. Let every child grow
up in peace."

  Industries Secretary Zakia Sultana and senior officials of the ministry
were present on the occasion.
