DHAKA, Oct 6, 2021 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today
predicted rain with temporary gusty wind over the country in the next 24
hours commencing at 9am today.

  "Light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty
wind, is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur and Chattogram
divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Sylhet,
Khulna and Barishal divisions," said a Met office bulletin issued this
morning.

  Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the
bulletin said.

  The highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded 35 degrees Celsius in
Jashore under Khulna division, while today's minimum temperature was 24
degrees Celsius in Tangail under Dhaka division and Dimla under Rangpur
division.

  The sun sets at 5:41 pm today and rises at 5:53 am tomorrow in the capital.
