DHAKA, Oct 3, 2021 (BSS) - Light to moderate rain or thundershowers
accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur in different parts of
the country, a met office release said today.

   Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty
wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and
Sylhet divisions; at a few places over Dhaka division and at one or two
places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions, it said.

  Moderately heavy to heavy falls may take place at some isolated places over
northern part of the country.

   Day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.

  The low pressure area over Bihar and adjoining area persists. The axis of
monsoon trough runs through Rajsthan, Hariyana, Uttar Pradesh, the centre of
the low, West Bengal to Assam across central part of Bangladesh.

  Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and weak over North Bay.

  Country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded 35.4 degrees Celsius
at Chandpur and minimum temperature today was recorded 22.9 degrees Celsius
at Dimla.

  Maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6:00am today was recorded 101
millimeters (mm) at Tetulia.

  Today's sunset at 5.44 PM and tomorrow's sunrise at 5.52 AM at Dhaka.
