DHAKA, Sept 22, 2021 (BSS) - Another customer of e-commerce company
Evaly today filed a case against its chairman Shamima Nasrin and her husband
and company Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mohammad
Rassel.

     One Md Mujahidur Rahman pleaded to accept his case with the court of
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Devdas Chandra Adhikari after not getting an
air-conditioner from the company in spite of paying the full price. Accepting
the case, the court asked Dhanmandi Police Station to file it as first
information report (FIR).

     "The customer paid Taka 85 thousands long ago to Evaly as payment for a
General brand Air-Conditioner. But in spite of paying the price in full, the
product was not supplied," public prosecutor Azad Rahman told BSS.

     Earlier on September 21, Dhaka Additional Metropolitan Magistrate
Hasibul Haque placed Mohammad Rassel on one day fresh remand and sent Shamima
Nasrin to jail in a money embezzlement case lodged with Gulshan Police
Station.

     Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Atiqul Islam on September 17 had placed
Rassel and Shamima on three-day remand in another case filed with Gulshan
Police Station. One Arif Baker, a customer of Evaly, filed the case.

     Mohammad Rassel and Shamima Nasrin were detained from their Mohammadpur
flat in the afternoon on September 16.
