DHAKA, April 22, 2024 (BSS)- Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has
issued country-wide fresh heat wave alert message for the next 72hours.

In the latest heat wave alert Meteorologist Md Bazlur Rashid said "the
prevailing heat wave over the country may continue during next72hours
commencing on Monday", adding "the heat wave likely to continue till Thursday
morning."

Due to increase moisture incursion, the discomfort may increase, said the
message in details.

Talking to BSS, Rashid also a deputy director of the BMD said the intensity
of the heat wave although seems recede temporarily due to the cloudy sky, but
the intensity of the heat wave will increase again from tomorrow.

Earlier, the BMD had issued 72 hours heat wave alert message in first phase
on Friday.
