DHAKA, Jan 28, 2024 (BSS) - Jatiya Party (JaPa) Chairman GM Quader and Co-chairman of JaPa Anisul Islam Mahmud have been officially recognised as the Leader of the Opposition and Deputy Leader of the Opposition respectively in the 12th parliament.
 
Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury recognised their positions in the parliament, according to a gazette of the Parliament Secretariat issued here today.
 
GM Quader was elected from the Rangpur-3 constituency while Anisul Islam Mahmud became lawmaker from Chattogram-5 in the 12th national parliamentary election held on January 7 this year.
