DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - BNP candidate Emran Ahmed Chowdhury has won from Sylhet-6 constituency in the 13th national parliamentary election.

He bagged 109,917 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Mohammad Selim Uddin obtained 101,569 votes.

In referendum, 147,908 people have cast 'Yes' votes and 77,404 others cast 'No' votes.

The results were announced unofficially at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in Agargaon in the capital today.
