DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - BNP candidate Md Shawkatul Islam has won from Moulvibazar-2 constituency in the 13th national parliamentary election.

He bagged 68,381 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md. Sayed Ali obtained 53,458 votes.

In referendum, 83,930 people have cast 'Yes' votes and 67,935 others cast 'No' votes.

The results were announced unofficially at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in Agargaon in the capital today.
