DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - Khelafat Majlis candidate Abul Hasan has won from Sylhet-5 constituency in the 13th National Parliament Election.

He bagged 79,355 votes while his nearest rival Jomiyat-e-Ulama-e-Bangladesh candidate Ubaydullah Faruq obtained 69,774 votes.

In referendum, 117,359 people have cast 'Yes' votes and 71,116 others cast 'No' votes.

The results were announced unofficially at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in Agargaon in the capital today.
