DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - BNP candidate Md. Nasir Chowdhury has won from Sunamganj-2 constituency in the 13th national parliamentary election.

He bagged 99,522 votes while his nearest rival Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Mohammad Shishir Monir obtained 63,220 votes.

In referendum, 52,387 people have cast 'Yes' votes and 48,742 others cast 'No' votes.

The results were announced unofficially at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in Agargaon in the capital today.
