DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - BNP candidate Khandakar Abdul Muktadir has won from Sylhet-1 constituency in the 13th national parliamentary election.

He bagged 176,936 votes while his nearest rival Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Maulana Habibur Rahman obtained 134,983 votes.

In referendum, 205,612 people have cast 'Yes' votes and 96,037 others cast 'No' votes.

The results were announced unofficially at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in Agargaon in the capital today.
