DHAKA,Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md. Anwarul Islam has won from Kurigram-1 constituency in the 13th national parliamentary election.

He bagged 141,090 votes while his nearest rival BNP candidate Saifur Rahman Rana obtained 123,025 votes.

The results were announced unofficially at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in Agargaon in the capital today.
