DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has won from Thakurgaon-1 constituency in the 13th national parliamentary election.

He secured 238,836 votes while his nearest rival Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Delowar Hossain received 141,017 votes.

The results were announced unofficially at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in Agargaon in the capital today.
