DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md. Majedur Rahman has won from Gaibandha-1 constituency in the 13th national parliamentary election.

He bagged 140,726 votes while his nearest rival BNP candidate Khandokar Ziaul Islam Mohammad Ali received 37,997 votes.

The results were announced unofficially at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in Agargaon in the capital today.
