DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) candidate Mia 
Nuruddin Ahmed Apu has been unofficially elected from Shariatpur-3 
constituency in the 13th National Parliamentary Election, securing 1,07,516 
votes.

His closest rival, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Muhammad Azharul 
Islam, received 69,684 votes.

The results were announced at the Referendum and 13th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) 
Election 2026 Results Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban 
in the capital's Agargaon area today.
