BNP candidate Selim Reza Habib unofficially elected in Pabna-2

DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) candidate Selim Reza Habib has been unofficially elected from the Pabna-2 constituency in the 13th National Parliamentary Election, securing 2,15,406 votes with the party symbol ‘Sheaf of Paddy’.

According to the unofficially announced results, his closest rival, Md Hesab Uddin of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami received 77,242 votes.

The information was disclosed during a formal briefing at the Referendum and Thirteenth National Parliamentary Election 2026 Results Collection and Presentation Center of the Election Commission, held at the Agargaon Election Building in the capital.
