DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) -BNP candidate Md. Shafiqul Rahman (Kiron) won in Shariatpur-2 constituency in the 13th national parliament election.

He secured 1,29,814 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Mahmud Hossain bagged  70,892 votes.

The results were announced at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban,  Agargaon in the capital today.
