DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) – BNP candidate Shimul Biswas has been elected unofficially in Pabna-5 constituency in the 13th national parliamentary election.

He secured 1,81,925 votes while his nearest rival  Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Iqbal Hossain received 1,64,994 votes.

The results were announced at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban,  Agargaon in the capital today.
