DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - BNP candidate Md. Faridul Kabir Talukder won from Jamalpur-4 constituency in the 13th national parliament election.

He secured 1,47,406 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Mohammad Abdul Awal received 44,947 votes.

In referendum, 1,22,778 people have cast ‘Yes’ votes and 47,588 others cast ‘No’ votes.

The results were announced at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban, Agargaon in the capital today.
