DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) – BNP-nominated candidate Anisur Rahman has been unofficially elected from Madaripur-3 constituency in the 13th national parliamentary election after securing 96,188 votes with the party symbol ‘Sheaf of Paddy’.

His nearest rival, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami nominated candidate Md Rafiqul Islam, received 84,646 votes.

The results were announced at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in capital's Agargaon area today.
