BNP candidate Mahfuz Ullah wins from Cox’s Bazar-2

DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) – BNP-nominated candidate Alamgir Muhammad Mahfuz Ullah Farid has been unofficially elected from Cox’s Bazar-2 constituency in the 13th national parliamentary election, securing 1,25,543 votes.

His closest rival, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate AHM Hamidur Rahman Azad, received 91,889 votes.

The results were announced at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in capital's Agargaon area today.
