DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) –Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Gazi Enamul Haque  won from Jashore-5 constituency in the 13th national parliament election.

He secured 1,32,876 votes while his nearest rival independent candidate Shahid Md Iqbal Hossain  received 85,045 votes.

In referendum, 1,75,871 people have cast ‘Yes’ votes and 88,809 others cast ‘No’ votes. 

The results were announced at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban, Agargaon in the capital today.
