DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Abul 
Kalam Azad has won unofficially from Khulna-6 constituency in the 13th J atiya 
Sangsad (JS) Election.

He secured 1,50,724 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Nationalist 
Party (BNP) candidate SM Monirul Hasan received 1,24,710 votes.

In the referendum, 1,76,886 people cast votes for 'Yes' while 
94,550 others cast 'No' votes in this constituency. 

The information was disclosed during a formal briefing at the Referendum and 
13th National Parliamentary Election 2026 Results Collection and 
Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital's Agargaon today.
