DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) candidate Sardar Md Sakhawat Hossain has been unofficially elected from Narsingdi-4 constituency in the 13th National Parliamentary Election, securing 1,63,392 votes with the party symbol ‘Sheaf of Paddy’.

According to the unofficially announced results, his closest rival, Md Jahangir Alam of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami received 78,744 votes.

Meanwhile, in the referendum in this constituency, the ‘Yes’ secured 1,50,923 votes while the ‘No’ got 72,396 votes.

The information was disclosed during a formal briefing at the Referendum and 13th National Parliamentary Election 2026 Results Collection and Presentation Centre of the Election Commission, held at the capital’s Agargaon  Nirbachan Bhaban  office .
