DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) – BNP candidate Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain Kaikobad has been elected unofficially from Cumilla-3 constituency in the 13th national parliamentary election.

He secured 1,59,291 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md Yousuf Sohel received 1,09,599 votes.

In the referendum, 1,91,730 voters cast 'Yes' votes while 58,913 others cast 'No' votes in this constituency.

The results were announced at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital’s Agargaon area today.
