DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - Independent candidate Rumeen Farhana has been elected unofficially from Brahmanbaria-2 constituency in the 13th National Parliament Election.

She secured 118,547 votes, while her nearest rival Jamiate Ulamaye Bangladesh candidate Mohammad Junayed Al Habib received 80,434 votes.

In the referendum, 145,462 voters cast 'Yes' votes, while 66,541 others cast 'No' votes in this constituency.

The results were announced at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in Agargaon in the capital today.
