BNP candidate Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin -File photo

DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) - BNP candidate Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin has been elected unofficially from Chattogram-5 constituency in the 13th National Parliamentary Election.

He secured 1,47,054 votes while his nearest rival Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish candidate Md Nasir Uddin  received 46,589 votes.

The results were announced at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in Agargaon in the capital today.
