DHAKA, Feb 13, 2026 (BSS) – Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) candidate AKM Fazlul Haque Milon has unofficially secured victory in the Gazipur-5 constituency in the 13th national parliamentary election.

Milon received a total of 1,33,869 votes, comfortably defeating his closest rival, Md Khairul Ahsan of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, who secured 78,123 votes.

The information was formally announced by Akhtar Ahmed, Senior Secretary of the Election Commission of Bangladesh, during a press briefing at the results collection and presentation center set up at the Agargaon Election Building in Dhaka, today.
